5.0 Always a great product

My fiance brought these back from Costa Rica a couple years ago, and they were amazing. I purchased some for him this summer, which was a mistake. At the time of the order, the temperatures in our area spiked above 100 degrees for several days straight. Britt did everything right with packaging the product -- ice pack and extra wrapping. I was impressed with this effort. Next time, however, I will purchase these in the winter so we can enjoy many beans, rather than one blob. Thanks for your quality food and packaging, Britt!

2.0 Melted Dark Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans

Britt's Dark Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans will forever & always remind my husband and I of our honeymoon in Costa Rica! We brought back (to the States) several bags of coffee & Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans to be enjoyed with family & friends and as a treat for my husband’s birthday I ordered him the chocolates to be sent to him as a surprise... While they taste incredible (just like we remember them) they unfortunately melted & congealed into one big (discolored) blob somewhere along the way (despite the cooler pack which was included in the packaging)… A few whacks to the bag of chocolates on the floor broke them apart pretty good and we are enjoying them nonetheless. Gracias

4.0 Great snack!

A friend brought some to me and I was hooked ! When my order got here they were all melted!! Nothing bad, they were shipped with care and a cool pack--but it was 100 degrees. I will order again when it cools down.

OMG, these are so good! Too good, in fact. I ate half the bag and made my husband take the rest to work just so I wouldn't finish it off!

Both coffee and cacao beans have a long history in Costa Rica. Hundreds of years ago cacao beans were first used as currency by indigenous tribes. Before the introduction of coffee in the early 1700s, cacao was already a major crop in Costa Rica. Today, it is still grown in the lowlands where plenty of rainfall nurtures the trees.

Café Britt has combined these two beans that are not only native to our country but also universally adored by many. Café Britt espresso beans are carefully chosen by our coffee experts and then slow-roasted bringing the bean’s natural oils and sugar to the surface.
