Had your coffee the first time through a friend who brought us some from their vacation, since then I have ordered 10 or more bags twice. Just opened the Veracruz, wow, great flavor and smell, my wife came in the kitchen and said that has to be the best coffee smell she has experienced. Thank you for producing top coffee and providing the best customer service.

I had previously purchased a few bags of Cafe Britt coffee and loved them all. Each had their own distinct taste. Shortly after I ran out of those bags, I quickly ordered more. I decided to try something new and purchased the Veracruz whole bean. When I first ground the beans, it was almost like those old coffee commercials where the smell wakes people up out of bed. It smelled so good! And the taste was so much better than I had expected. I loved the flavor. I'm not a coffee aficionada by any means, but I know a decent cup of coffee when I taste it, and this was delicious. It satisfied my taste buds. It took me back to my short time in Costa Rica! I fell in love all over again! :o)

Our Veracruz coffee is carefully chosen from Huatusco, a central region in Veracruz, which is the third largest of the thirty-one United States of Mexico.  Specifically, these beans have flourished along the volcanic slopes. These highlands are rich in minerals that today nourish the coffee bushes that grow there.

This mexican coffee not only has Mother Nature’s blessing but the cultural energy from one of the most colorful regions in Mexico.  The port city of Veracruz is an old, colonial town with a rhythm all its own.  As Mexico’s principal Caribbean and Atlantic sea port, Veracruz has been a gateway of many different cultures.  The cuisine, music and vibe reflect the many different influences that have come through the port over the years.

Much of the city’s activity buzzes around its coffee houses, the oldest of which served Spanish immigrants in the 1830s.  As you stroll through the central plaza you will hear coffee cups clinking, the bell of the town trolley and live music playing at all hours.
